Symptoms
Applications cannot be pushed over the wireless network from the BlackBerry Enterprise Server to newer BlackBerry models that were released after the most recent BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version was released.
The BlackBerry Policy Service log (POLC) shows one of the following errors, based on the BlackBerry model:
Device info for hardwareID 0x84000b03 could not be found.
Device info for hardwareID 0x84000D03 could not be found.
Device info for hardwareID 0x84000E03 could not be found.
Device info for hardwareID 0x96000f03 could not be found.
This is a known issue with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. A solution can be found in KB04693 in the support section of the BlackBerry web site.
