Rove Appoints Russell Ure President and Chief Operating Officer

OTTAWA, ONTARIO - May 14, 2010 - Rove Inc., the leader in IT infrastructure management from smartphones, today announced that Russell Ure, the company’s Vice President of Research and Development, has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer. With over 20 years of progressive experience in a range of management and executive roles, Mr. Ure brings well proven managerial and leadership skills to this vital appointment.

Mr. Ure’s prior executive positions include Vice President of Research and Development for Alcatel Networks, where he oversaw the activities of a development organization of several hundred developers and designers responsible for Alcatel’s Network Management product family. Mr. Ure has also led a team to develop a virtual battlefield simulation for the US Army Research Institute, managed the development of IBM's Visual Age for Basic product and led the development of a market-leading Secure Private Networking product at a start-up company that was eventually acquired and integrated within Alcatel's networking portfolio. During his tenure as Vice President of R&D at Rove, Mr. Ure provided the product and technology direction plus the operational expertise instrumental to Rove establishing itself as a global leader of innovative mobile IT solutions.
