Rove Appoints Russell Ure Vice President of Research and Development
October 27, 2008 - OTTAWA - Rove Inc., the world’s only provider of a network administration platform that allows for unified management of all IT systems from a handheld device or computer, today announced that it has appointed Russell Ure as its Vice President of Research and Development.
Mr. Ure brings more than 20 years of experience to Rove, having held previous positions as Vice President of Research and Development for Alcatel Networks and Klocwork, where he most recently oversaw all research and development activities related to the design and delivery of software, as well as product support. Throughout his varied career, Mr. Ure has led a team to develop a virtual battlefield simulation for the US Army Research Institute, managed the development of IBM's Visual Age for Basic product and led the development of a market-leading Secure Private Networking product at a start-up company that was eventually acquired and integrated within Alcatel's networking portfolio. At Alcatel, Mr. Ure oversaw the activities of a development organization of more than 300 people.

At Rove, Mr. Ure will be responsible for the creation of product development roadmaps for all present and future products. He will develop and maintain the technology and product vision, strategy and design for the organization. In addition, Mr. Ure will work closely with the executive team in a collaborative effort to lead the company and ensure its future success.
