Rove’s Mobile File Manager is discontinued as of September 16, 2008

September 16, 2008 - OTTAWA - Rove Inc., the world’s only provider of a network administration platform that allows for unified management of all IT systems from a handheld device or computer, today announced that Mobile File Manager will be discontinued as of September 16, 2008. Discontinuing Mobile File Manager will allow Rove to focus on its flagship product, Mobile Admin.

Mobile Admin is a complete enterprise solution that enables the unified administration of all servers, including Windows and UNIX, as well as routers and switches. Mobile Admin 4.1, launched September 16, 2008, now incorporates the functionality of Mobile SSH, providing full UNIX connectivity via SSH or telnet. It also integrates the capabilities of Mobile Desktop, allowing administrators to view their Windows environment exactly as it is appears on the screen of their desktop or laptop.

Over 7,000 customers worldwide, including more than one hundred Fortune 500 companies and six of the world’s 15 largest banks, have installed more than 80,000 Rove licenses in their IT environments. In the coming months, Rove will continue to build on its new integrated Mobile Admin platform to provide users with even more benefits.
