Junior Software Developer (based in Ottawa, Canada)

Rove is the world’s leading provider of mobile IT management solutions and we are expanding our team of software professionals. We are looking for an entry level web developer to help build and maintain our web site, with the potential of moving onto more complex development duties over time. If you have skills in ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript SQL Server, IIS and a desire to join a growing startup company participating in the smartphone and tablet revolution then this position is of interest to you.

As a Software Developer, you will have ownership of business critical components, and will be responsible for feature implementation, bug fixes and maintenance. As a member of a talented team of cross-functional developers, other challenges will always be available.

Education:

• A university degree or equivalent Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Engineering.

Experience:

• Work term level development experience.

Skill Requirements:

• Knowledge of web site development using ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL Server, IIS;
• Can work successfully within a team environment;
• Knowledge of Agile development processes;
• Java, J2ME, Eclipse IDE and RIM JDE knowledge is an asset;
• Strong problem solving skills;
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
